Rana to do film on elephant conservation

 Remember Rajesh Khanna starrer 'Haathi Mere Saathi'? Daggubati Rana will now be reprising the role of Rajesh Khanna in the trilingual remake of this film. This film will be made in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.

Rana confirmed this news and tweeted, "Work in progress ;) filming begins January 2018!!" Prabhu Solomon will be directing this film, which is looking at Diwali 2018 for release. Rana said that he is excited about this film and it is a tribute to Rajesh Khanna.

"It's a rare story about the relevance of nature in our lives, narrated through a wonderful relationship between man and elephant. This story is definitely another of those rare challenges I'm beginning to enjoy being a part off. Prabhu Solomon passion for nature and elephants makes him probably the finest craftsman in the country who can handle a story like this," he added.
