‘Abhimanyudu’ that features Vishal, Smantha and Action King Arjun in major roles, has completed censor formality and received U/A certificate from the censor board members. Producers are planning to release the film in the last week of May. The Tamil version ‘Irumbu Thirai’ was released recently and tuned out to be a super duper hit film. PS Mitran is the director. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Hari Venkateswara Pictures owner G Hari has bagged Telugu rights of the film. G Hari is bringing the film to Telugu audience with M Purushothaman as presenter.
On this occasion, producer G Hari said, “Tami version ‘Irumbu Thirai’ has become biggest hit film in Vishal’s career. It has got extraordinary reviews in Tamil. After ‘Rangasthalam’ and ‘Mahanati’, the film stood as a hat-trick hit for Samantha. I am confident that the Telugu version ‘Abhimanyudu’ will become bigger hit than the Tamil version.”
