'Baahubali' fame Sathyaraj defeats Covid-19

Sathyaraj, the Katappa from 'Baahubali' franchise, was last week admitted to a hospital in Chennai after he tested positive for Covid-19. The senior actor has now been discharged.

Taking to Twitter, his son and actor Sibi said that his father is now doing fine. "Hey guys..Appa got discharged from the hospital last night and back home..He’s totally fine and will resume work after a few days of rest..Thank you all for your love and support! (sic)," he tweeted.

Sathyaraj was seen in a prominent role in last week's Telugu-Tamil release '1945'. Starring Rana Daggubati as the hero, the film was released amid zero buzz. It turned out to be a flop at the box office. The 'Jersey' actor is playing a prominent role in 'Pakka Commercial' currently. The film stars Gopichand and Raashi Khanna and is directed by Maruthi.
