Touted to be a crime drama based on "case files" from the police department, 'Shoot-out At Alair' is a Telugu-language crime drama written and directed by Anand Ranga. To be streamed on ZEE5, it is being produced by Sushmita Konidela (Chiranjeevi's daughter) and her husband Vishnu Prasad on Goldbox Entertainment.
The news is that the motion poster of the 8-episode web-series is out. Starring Prakash Raj and Srikanth in leading roles, its shoot is nearing completion.
Speaking about the release of the poster, Sushmita Konidela said, "I am learning things as a new producer. This web series is my first step. I am very happy to release the first look motion poster of 'Shoot-out at Alair' on my father's birthday."
Going into further details, the web-series is has a real-life backdrop. "Akhtar kills a policeman every year on the day of the Mecca Masjid blasts. Soon, Akhtar is encountered. However, after several years, when a policeman gets killed on the same day, IG Praveen Chand suspects Akhtar's involvement. Is Akhtar still alive?" the makers write, teasing the audience.
The release date is yet to be announced.
