With introducing music director Chakravarthy’s grandson Rajesh Sri Chakravarthy as hero, Mohan Babu Pulimamidi is producing a film titled ‘Sivakasipuram’ under Sai Hareswara Productions banner. Harish Vattikuti is the director. Priyanka Sharma is playing the female lead. The first song from the film has been launched at FM Station in Hyderabad on Friday i.e. on October 14. Remaining singles will also be released one by one soon.
On this occasion, producer Mohan Babu Pulimamidi said, “It’s a beautiful love story set in the backdrop of a village. Prominent music director Chakravarthy’s grandson Rajesh Sri Chakravarthy is being introduced as hero. Despite being new to acting, Rajesh Sri Chakravarthy has given wonderful performance. Heroine Priyanka Sharma’s performance and the songs will stand out as highlight s for the film. The film’s shooting has been wrapped up recently. Shooting took place in Telangana state. The film came out wonderfully. Director has moulded ‘Sivakasipuram’ excellently like how he planned. At present, post-production works are going on. We will release the teaser as Diwali treat. We are making pre-release arrangements in a grand level. We are planning to release the film in the next month. I wish and hope Telugu audience will encourage us by making the film a big success.”
Addressing the gathering, director Harish said, “It’s a teenage love story in psychological thriller genre. ‘Sivakasipuram’ is based on some real incidents. Each and every scene will be different. Even though everyone in the team are new to acting, the have given wonderful performance. The film was shot at Mancherial and RK Puram and some other locations in Telangana state. It’s doesn’t mean that it’s a Telangana film. It has been made with a universal point. Comedy scenes between Chammak Chandra and Jabardasth Ram will leave audience in splits. I am confident that the film will impress all sects of audience.”
“Earlier, I have acted for a short film titled ‘Nuvvu Chala Hot’. Director Harish watched the film and he was impressed with my acting and given me the opportunity. I play auto driver in ‘Sivakasipuram’. It’s a beautiful love story set in the backdrop of a village. Love story between hero and heroine will be interesting. There will be romantic scenes in the film. Not just the youth, the film can be watched by the whole family together,” said hero Rajesh.
Speaking on the occasion, music director Pawan Sesh said, “Earlier, I have provided music for ‘Gulabi’ and ‘Love States’. ‘Sivakasipuram’ is my third film. Music has ample scope in the film. After ‘Satamanam Bhavati’, SP Balasubramanyam garu has rendered his voice for a song in the film. It will stand out as highlight for the film. I am sure the film will become big success.”
