The grand audio launch event of Allu Arjun and Anu Emmanuel starrer ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India’ was held on April 22 at Military Madhavaram ZP High School, Tadepalligudem Mandal in West Godavari district. Entire unit of the film has attend the function. Nagababu launched the big CD, while Allu Arjun release the audio CDs.
Speaking at the audio launch event, Allu Arjun said, “When we were thinking about a right place to arrange audio launch event, we came to know that there’s a village named Military Madhavaram Tadepalligudem Mandal in West Godavari district. Military Madhavaram - The village got the prefix Military by the goodness of the people living in the village sending at least one members to serve in the Indian army. Soldiers from this village fought for the British Empire in World War 1. We are proud to be holding the event in such a reputable village today. I thank producers Lagadapati Sridhar garu and Sirisha garu for trusting me and taking care of me. I am wanting to do a film with Nagababu garu since long time. It happened now. I don’t know how he is feeling, but I consider myself lucky to be working with him. Bunny Vas has put up with my torture. I am thankful to Vishal-Sekhar and everyone who worked for the film.”
Allu Arjun, delineating his characterisation in the film, said, “Hero’s only aim in the film is to serve in the Indian army and this point impressed me. During the shooting, Indian Army has given lot of support. We are thankful to them.”
Bunny stated, “All mega heroes are always one. I speak out when I feel like. Pawan kalyan garu, being in No.1 position as hero and making crores of money, he can enjoy life in AC rooms. But, he is working for the people. Criticisms are being made against such a person. We heard same things when Chiranjeevi garu has entered politics. We are used to it and made ourselves strong. They own channels and speaking like that. My hearty congratulations to my loving brother Ram Charan for the success of ‘Rangasthalam’.”
On this occasion, Nagababu said, “The reason behind chose this village for holding audio launch event is because of the goodness of the people living in the village sending at least one members to serve in the Indian army. Soldiers from this village fought for the British Empire in World War 1. You will see Bunny in a soldier role. To seek the blessings from the families of the defence personnel and everyone blessed him. Bunny is a man with pure heart and soul. Chiranjeevi garu has given us life. He is the lifeline for Pawan Kalyan, Bunny, Charan, Teju, Varun and Niharika and me. I just want to convey my gratitude in a single line ‘Thank You annayya for everything’. My younger brother Pawan Kalyan, who is at No.1 position in Tollywood, has kept aside all his stardom and his golden opportunities to make money, for the sake of people. Few are making derogatory and senseless allegations. They are trying their best not to let him to enter into this political arena with their derogatory comments. He is not alone, he has an entourage.”
Addressing the gathering, Vakkantham Vamsi said, “If there is agitation or violence happening outside, we won’t event dare to send our kids outside - This is most common scenario. But this is not applicable in this village. I am proud to be born on the same land. I this journey we met many military personnel and their families and learned a lot. It’s an emotional journey and hope the film will impress everyone. I have worked as writer for many films. This is my first film as a director. It’ my 3-year-long dream. I am thankful to the producer Lagadapati Sridhar garu, presenter Nagababu garu and co-producer Bunny Vas garu for trusting me and making this film without compromising. Vishal-Sekhar music duo has given wonderful music like a national movie. Anything I say about Bunny would be an understatement. I travelled with him for 130 days. He has made my dream to come true. He worked with me like how he works with an experienced director. I am sure Surya’s character will remain in the hearts of audience for at least 10 years. The character will leave audience in splits, make them cry and get anger. ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India’ will make audience feel proud.”
“I wish Vakkantham Vamsi will become star director. Earlier, he worked as a writer for Bunny’s ‘Race Gurram’. ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India’ will become bigger hit than that film. I am sure the film will remain in the hearts of audience forever,” said Lagadapati Sridhar.
Allu Arjun is playing Army officer in this flick. The film is being directed by writer turned director Vakkantham Vamsi. Lagadapati Sirisha and Sridhar are producing it under Ramalakshmi Cine Creations banner in association with Bunny Vass. Bollywood music duo Vishal-Sekhar is providing music for the film. Pre-release event will take place in Hyderabad on April 29. The film is scheduled to release on May 4.
