'1997' is an upcoming movie starring Dr. Mohan, Naveen Chandra and Koti in lead roles. Directed by Dr. Mohan himself, the film is produced by Eshwara Parvathi Movies. The film's first look was today released in Hyderabad. 'Narappa' director Sreekanth Addala was the chief guest for the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Addala said, "When Suresh Kondeti called me and asked me to release the first look, I learned about the movie. '1997' is looking very promising. A lot of actors have acted in it. Koti garu seems to have played a superb role. Mohan garu has not only acted in the movie but has also directed and produced it."
Naveen Chandra said, "Mohan garu is the reason I have done this movie. When I listened to the story, I was thoroughly impressed. My character is quite interesting and that's what matters to me the most. I hope everyone loves this movie."
Music director Koti said, "I have known Mohan garu for many years. He once played my son in a film. My father wanted me to become a cop. Since I didn't become one, I enjoyed playing a cop in this film. Previously, I played a cop in 'Devineni' as well. Since then, I have received a lot of similar offers. Chiranjeevi garu once told me to take up more acting offers."
Mohan said, "A lot of thanks to Koti garu. He has always stood by me. Naveen Chandra came on board as soon as he listened to the story. Banerjee garu, Srikanth garu and Ravi Prakash have also supported us. Our film touches upon a burning issue."
Srikanth Iyengar, Ravi Prakash, and Rama Raju are part of the cast. Music is by Koti. Cinematography is by Chitti Babu. Produced by Meenakshi Ramavath, the film is written by the director himself.
