The magnificent music launch of the much awaited ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s bilingual film titled ‘Kathanayakudu’ in Telugu, and ‘Kuselan’ in Tamil was held at the luxurious Le Royal Meredian, Chennai, on Monday, the 30th June. While many biggies from Kollywood and Tollywood attended this function, AR Rahman was the chief guest of this grandeur, for which his nephew GV Prakash (‘Chikku Bukku Raile’ fame lad) scored music for this magnanimous film.
This is certainly an unforgettable moment for GV Prakash, the young talent, who composed extraordinary tunes for ‘Kathanayakudu’. The songs composed by this young musician has immensely impressed our Superstar Rajni, his guru K Balachander, director P Vasu and the gatherings at the function. GV Prakash will undoubtedly go a step ahead with this vigorous album that makes his uncle AR Rahman feel proud of him.
The producer of the Telugu version of the film, C Aswini Dutt, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil and Ali were among the eminent personalities from Telugu industry who graced the function.
Rajinikanth expressed his happiness and confidence considering the favorable responses of the film from the period of its launch. He also praised GV Prakash for his remarkable music in this film. While K Balachander, Rajni’s mentor gave a lengthy speech about their bonding as “guru – sishya”, P Vasu cited Rajni as an example for true friendship.
