The audio launch of ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ has been released this evening at State Art Gallery, Hyderabad. In the direction of Srikanth Addala, the film is made on Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. This is a cute musical love story with Happy Days fame Varun Sandesh and a new face Swetha Prasad as lead pair. Music is scored by Mickey J Meyer while Aditya Music takes up the marketing incharge. Some of the prominent who graced the function were NTR, Allu Arjun, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Boyapati Seenu, Vamsi Paidipalli and others.
NTR had formally purchased the first audio CD released by Allu Arjun while Bommarillu Bhaskar received the audio cassette released by Prabhas. Each song was released by the guests except for two songs as they were sung by the singers on the stage. The visual scenes that were shown on screen had green colour in all the songs. The unit members Dil Raju, director Srikanth Addala, hero Varun Sandesh, music director Mickey J Meyer, Sirivennela, Ananth Sriram and the playback singers attended the function. A few students from Bashyam and Vignan Colleges were also present to encourage the ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ team.
The producer of the film Dil Raju personally thanked all the unit members and the guests who graced the function. He even thanked the college managements and the parents of students who gave their performance in this film. He was thankful to the music director Mickey for the excellent music and Sirivennela for his splendid lyrics. He praised the director Srikanth Addala for his fabulous work and expressed his confidence that the film would attain the best results at the box-office.
NTR while wishing the KBL team a grand success said, “Mickey composed tremendous music and that it will stand as the highlight to the film”. Speaking about today’s movie trend he expressed that that the young talent are becoming tough competitors to the present established heroes. Hence the existing top heroes need to really work hard to improvise themselves. Further speaking NTR opined that the industry requires more producers like Dil Raju who has brought new dimensions to the Tollywood.
The director of the film Srikanth Addala gave his special thanks to the parents of those students who had worked for this film and also the college managements for allowing them to shoot in the college premises.
Allu Arjun, Prabhas and Bhaskar were in full of praises for Mickey’s extra ordinary music and wished the entire team of KBL a great success.
Varun Sandesh thanked the cinematographer Chota K Naidu for his excellent photography and also thanked the director Srikanth for having churned out the hidden talent in him. He was indeed thrilled to have shared the dias with the three heroes whose films he used to watch in theatres. After Happy Days, KBL is the second film Varun is working for, in Mickey J Meyer’s music.
“The beautiful lyrics of Sastry garu and Anant Sriram have added some flavour to my tunes. Srikanth and Dil Raju, both have wonderful taste in music. Therefore I was able to provide such a lovely album”, Mickey said.
Praising Dil Raju Sirivennela said, “I appreciate Dil Raju for providing the quality films and also encouraging the young talent”. He expressed his happiness for having introduced new playback singers. Feeling sad that Tollywood is importing the outside talent he opined, “Some years ago we use to go to others States and work whereas these days it’s the other way round.” Before winding up his speech he praised NTR for his down-to-earth nature.
“With the good production values, good screenplay and good music the cinematographer can capture beautiful shots. Thanks to Dil Raju,Srikanth and Mickey for giving me the rebirth as cameraman through KBL”, said Chota K Naidu.
Boyapati Seenu and Vamsi Paidipally were satisfied with the visuals and praised the team’s efforts for having made such amazing film. They wished that this film would be yet another hattrick to Dil Raju.
