Mahathma Muhurat

Srikanth’s 100th film ‘Mahathma’ was today launched at an Aluminum Factory, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The film is directed by Krishna Vamsi under Goldenline banner produced by CR Manohar. Bhavana is playing the female lead. Dr Chiranjeevi graced the occasion as the special guest and gave the clap for the muhurat shot, while Dr D Ramanaidu switched on the camera and Dr Dasari Narayana Rao directed the shot.

Chiranjeevi while speaking, “I’m very happy to step into the film atmosphere after a very long time. This film industry is providing bread to many people. Therefore I wish this industry to be prosperous forever. Krishna Vamsi is one of the fine directors Telugu Film Industry has got. It is a great achievement for Srikanth to reach 100 films and he is also lucky to have Krishna Vamsi as his director. My best wishes to the entire unit members and I wish a great success for this film”.

Dasari Narayana Rao said, “Srikanth, who entered the film industry as a villain then slowly got converted into a successful hero. In these days continuing as hero with consistency has become difficult. At this juncture, Srikanth has reached the level of completing 99 films and his 100th film has also got launched. Today would be the most memorable day for Srikanth in his film career because all the prominent guests present here have completed 100 films in their film career. Lastly, I’m also happy to note that Srikanth’s 100th film is being made on patriotic backdrop”.

“Mahathma will be a milestone in my film career. I’m grateful to Krishna Vamsi who agreed to direct my 100th film and I’m thankful to my producers who instantly came forward to produce this film. My sincere thanks to all the well-wishers who graced this occasion”, conveyed Srikanth.

“I normally launch my films in a simple manner with the presence of unit members. But, since this film is the 100th film we wanted to invite some important guests as part of respect. Nobody becomes Mahathma by birth. They become Mahathma by following certain principles regularly and by developing their personality. Gandhiji use to follow some of the principles of our Hindu Gods Rama and Krishna. This film will speak about Gandhism. The regular shooting would begin from tomorrow”, conveyed the director Krishna Vamsi.

Parachuri Gopalakrishna narrated the shot ‘Srikanth carrying the wounded Gandhiji’ as “One can imagine our country’s progress if every state has one Gandhiji”. Based on this theme the film will be made. He said, Srikanth’s first film ‘People’s Encounter’ was scripted by me and Venkateswara Rao. Now, we are happy to write the script for his 100th film too”.

Parachuri Venkateswara Rao said that this film will give a message to the voters who are confused with the present politics in the country.
