Cult movie maker Ram Gopal Verma’s much talked about ‘Rakta Charitra’ is being launched and the director flew down to Hyderabad where the film’s producers Madhu Mantena and Sheetal Vinod Talwar organized a press meet at hotel Taj Banjara.
“Rakta Charitra’ is based on the life of Paritala Ravi. I have interviewed Paritala Ravi’s followers and also his enemy Madella Cheruvu Suri to get a true and authentic picture. Vivek Oberoi and Surya will be portraying the roles of Paritala Ravi and Muddela Suri, respectively. Mohan Babu will be playing the role of NTR. The film will be made into two parts ‘Rakta Charitra part I and II’. The entire movie will be shot in Hyderabad and Anantapur. We will begin the film from 12th October in Hyderabad.
