Varudu Press Meet

Allu Arjun’s latest flick ‘Varudu’ directed by Guna Sekhar and produced by D V V Danayya under Universal Media banner is releasing on 31st March. On this occasion a press meet was organized at the producer’s office.

D V V Danayya informed, “We shot the marriage episode at Indore on a specially designed marriage set. Nature and fields were shot and together picturised through graphics but one would not recognize that it is a graphics. Bunny is aptly suitable hero for this story. The entire customs of the Telugu wedding is portrayed in this film. While the audio is already a big hit here the overseas distributors of ‘Varudu’ also informed us that the wedding song has become highly popular in London streets. I’m confident that the audience will receive this film much beyond my expectation.”

Allu Arjun said, “I’ve been waiting for this date, March 31st for quite a long time and I’ve seen ‘Varudu’ only three days back. On one hand I’m feeling very happy and on other hand I also feel nervous. Guna Sekhar narrated the storyline in just two minutes and I was impressed by it as it was exactly the same what I wanted to do a film with Guna Sekhar. In general we find the film being in post production works till the release date but in case of ‘Varudu’, it’s ready with prints three days in advance. Andhra Pradesh is going to see yet another Arya through ‘Varudu’. Despite being a happening hero in Tamil, Arya agreed to do this film only because he was impressed by Guna Sekhar’s earlier film ‘Okkadu’. His role is a prominent one in this film. Likewise Singeetham Srinivas Rao garu is giving a guest appearance. One would understand after the film’s release why we have not revealed the heroine’s face till the date of release. I hope that ‘Varudu’ with good making values will be my birthday gift by Guna Sekhar garu because I could see the positive vibration during the making itself. I hope that will pass to the audience through the silver screen.”
