Dr Rajasekhar and Kamalini Mukherjee starring ‘Maa Annayya Bangaram’ film was launched today at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. To be directed by Jonnalagadda Sreenu, the film will be produced by Natti Kumar under Vishaka Movies banner. AP Chief Minister K Roshaiah graced the occasion and switched on the camera for the muhurat shot. While Dasari Narayana Rao sounded the clap board, D Ramanaidu directed the first shot. The script was handed over to the director by politicians Ponnala Lakshmayya and Mukesh Gaud and others.
On this occasion Dasari Narayana Rao while speaking, “Right now I am sure that small producers will last long in the industry since the public are watching films even without big stars. Reason, it is not the question of big star’s film or small star’s film but it is about how good is the film. Of late the entire film industry is ruled by just two to three families. We will definitely reveal this to the public very soon.”
Chief Minister K Roshaiah said, “The Congress government is always ready to solve the problems in the film industry.” He opined that he had not watched any film for the past 20 years and said that he would be watching it after its release.
Dr Rajasekhar said, “This story will speak about our Indian culture. I okayed this film as soon as I heard the narration of the script. The director directed the film ‘Manasunna Maaraaju’. In this film I have six younger brothers. All might think that Natti Kumar is a producer today. But I would like to share one thing about this. When I worked with producers C Kalyan and Bellamkonda Suresh, they were also small producers at that time. So, Natti Kumar will also become a big producer in the near future.”
Director Jonnalagadda Bhupathi Raja said, “The script is about a man’s life journey from his birth and how he reached his last stage of life. I am happy to say that Rajasekhar instantly agreed to do this film impressed by the script. I am also happy to note that my gurus Parachuri brothers are working for this film.”
Producer Natti Kumar while speaking, “I worked as an office boy for my guru Dasari garu. This is the story of seven brothers. The regular shooting will begin from April 12th and we are planning to release it in July.”
Parachuri Venkateswara said, “We have earlier worked for many of Rajasekhar’s films. Jonnalagadda worked for us and is a talented person. He has narrated a very good script.”
