Thakita Thakita Press Meet

The shooting of ‘Thakita Thakita’ has been completed and presently in post production works. This film being directed by Srihari Naanu and produced by Bharat Thakur under Downtown Films banner has Nagarjuna and Anushka in guest roles. This apart, Bhumika is also essaying a key role while the lead star cast is fresh.

A press meet was organized on Sunday evening at Bhumika’s production office. Bharat Thakur, Bhumika Chawla, Anushka, director Srihari Naanu, cinematographer Senthil Kumar, co-producer Bekkem Venugopal, actors Harshvardhan, Raane, Trinetrudu, Nandhan and writer Ravi participated in the press meet.

Speaking to the media Bhumika said, “This is heart touching film with youth and fun elements. I’m here in the Telugu film industry for the past 11 years. People here treat me as a daughter and as a sister, therefore I want to contribute something from my side to the Telugu film industry. So I started this production house in order to make good films. I’m doing a role of a teacher in Thakita Thakita.”

Anushka while speaking, “This is like my family film. In order to support my family I’m going to appear in this film as my real life character. Every frame of this film is very interesting. I will definitely do any role even in future for this banner.”

Bharat Thakur said, “We are introducing several new faces around the country through this film. We are putting in maximum efforts to bring out a good film to the audience.”

Executive producer Bekkem Venugopal informed, “Right now final editing work is going on. We are going to release the audio by end of May and the film in June.”

Director Srihari Naanu said, “It almost took 3 years to design this script. The main theme of this film is ‘one should take the right decision at the right time.”

Cinematographer Senthil Kumar said, “After ‘Ithe’ I’m working for yet another film that has all new artists. This is also a different experience and ‘Thakita Thakita’ film will remain an unforgettable film in my film career.”
