Gangaputrulu

The thought provoking film ‘Gangaputrulu’ which is taking shape under the direction of Sunil Kumar Reddy is jointly being produced by Kishori Basireddy and Ravindra Babu under KBR Productions and Sravya Films banner. To brief the film’s progress, a press meet was organised at Film Chamber in Hyderabad. This programme is attended by Sunil Kumar Reddy, Kishori Basireddy and Y Ravindra Babu, etc.

Director Sunil Kumar Reddy said, “We are crafting this film with a social commitment. The film is being made with high technical values as well. A few technicians who are working as faculties in Pune Film Institute have worked for this film. The story of this film will reflect some of the real facts that are occurring in the society due to present politics. We have taken enough risk to make this movie. We tried to showcase the lives of the fishermen. We are planning to release the audio on March 8th and the movie during the month end.”

Producer Kishori Basireddy said, “We stepped into the production line only to bring out a film which will be useful to the society. We want to make films according to our desires and thoughts. In this line we made the film ‘Sontha Vooru’ in the past which won Nandi award. This movie also has strong human values. The audience will get to see the lives of Gangaputrulu and how they are being cheated. I’m confident that this movie would surely appeal to the moviegoers.”
