Rangam Audio Release

A Tamil film titled ‘Ko’ which is going to hit theaters on April 22 is being dubbed into Telugu as Rangam. The Telugu version will be released after a while. In the mean time the producers have released the audio today at Taj Krishna in Hyderabad. The film stars Jeeva, Karthika, Pia Bajpai & Ajmal has music by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography by Richard Nathan. K V Anand is the director.

The music launch was attended by RB Chowdary, Harris Jayaraj, Richard Nathan, Vanamali, VV Vinayak, Kumar, Paras Jain, N V Prasad, Radha, Suresh Babu, Umesh Gupta, etc.

VV Vinayak released the audio CDs and presented the 1st copy to D Suresh Babu.

Addressing the gathering K V Anand said, “I worked as a photographer for several magazines and later worked as a cinematographer. As a press photographer I captured atleast 9 Chief Ministers in my camera. The story of this film is based on press reporter and press photographer. It revolves around the life of a photo-journalist. This movie will showcase their working style. A press photographer plays a key role in the media. Harris rendered aptly suitable music. A few songs were picturised abroad which would be the visual treat for the audience and not to speak of re-recording work. Jeeva gave an awesome performance. Karthika was equally good. Ajal plays the sacrificing character. The action sequences choreographed by Peter Hynes are very natural.”

N V Prasad said, “KV Anand worked as a cameraman for many great films and later became director through ‘Ayyan’. And now he directed this movie with R B Chowdary’s son as hero. RB Chowdary introduced many heroes whose parents belong to film industry. I’m happy to note that his son is making entry in Telugu through this film. Many great technicians worked for this film. Harris Jayaraj scored excellent music. This movie was made on the backdrop of journalists. Vanamali penned aptly suitable lyrics for the Telugu version of songs. I hope this movie will become a big hit in Telugu as well.”

VV Vinayak said, “Jeeva is a very good actor. Harris Jayaraj composed very good music. RB Chowdary introduced very good technicians for this film. I wish a grand success for this film.”

D Suresh Babu said, “Chowdary is one of the top producers. He produced this film with good technicians. I wish a big success for this movie.”

Karthika while speaking, “This is my first movie in Tamil and it is also being screened in Telugu. My role in this movie is very prominent. Harris Jayaraj’s music is the highlight. Jeeva is a very good actor. After ‘Josh’, my role in ‘Rangam’ is very interesting.”

Radha too opined that all songs are pretty impressive and that they have shot in remote locations.

Jeeva said, “I’m the son of RB Chowdary. I hope the people here will accept me as much as they accepted our banner. I would be doing a straight movie in Telugu. I enjoy working with new directors and so as this director. The story of this movie can be related to all. I played a youthful character. The director gave me a camera instead of a knife or a gun. Ajmal and Karthika cooperated a lot. We all together worked very hard. Harris Jayaraj’s music is very impressive. It was a big hit in Tamil. My father is a simple man even though he produced many films. I will always ensure great honors to him. I wish this movie also to become a big hit.”

Harris Jayaraj said, “I’m very happy for this audio to have released in Telugu also. I love Hyderabad and people of Hyderabad. The producers made very good films. Te artists also gave very good performance. The director is very talented like Shankar. I thank the Telugu audience for accepting my music.”

Vanamali said, “After ‘Orange’ Harris gave very good tunes for this film too.
The director made me write impressive lyrics for the songs. I’m very happy for getting the opportunity to write lyrics for all the songs. I have already written for the supergood films banner in the past. I congratulate Sri Ramakrishna for writing very good dialogues. I hope this audio will become a big hit.”

Kumar said, “The director crafted a very good film. The audio was a big hit in Tamil Nadu. I thank Harris Jayaraj on this occasion. I’m very happy that this movie is being released in Telugu also. This movie was shot abroad in the never seen before locations. This movie will showcase the working style of photo journalists.”
