Jayendra said, “I became a director right at the time of retirement stage. I’m an ad filmmaker and for the first time I made a 2 ½ hours movie. Everyone is curious about the title of this film. There are a lot of twists in the screenplay. Sarrath rendered excellent tunes for the film and not to speak of Vanamali’s lyrics. Siddarth is the only hero who can fit into the role in ‘180’. The movie would definitely haunt the viewers even after leaving the theaters. Therefore we are very confident about the success of the film. We shot the movie with the digital camera. The color correction was done by a foreigner named Kevin Sha. This apart many top technicians worked for this movie.”
Allu Aravind said, “I know Jayendra from 1980. He did numerous ad films. I decided to watch the film on the first day if there wouldn’t be any preview show. Jayendra took this film with a new technology. He filmed a great film. I’m happy to see the producers support for him. This movie will definitely become a big success.”
Shyam Prasad Reddy said, “I know Jayendra for the past 25 years. He is a well known personality in Mumbai who took many ad films. He is a good friend of Maniratnam and PC Sriram. I wish a grand success for the film.”
Music director Sharrat said, “All songs have been composed as per the director’s choice. Working for this film is a good experience. It gave me immense happiness. ‘180’ is altogether a different film.”
Vanamali said, “I’m lucky to write lyrics for this film. I never expected the movie would be pictured in such outstanding manner. The director use to narrate the situation to me and give me enough freedom to pen the lyrics accordingly. The lyrics in Tamil have been penned by Vairamuthu’s son. Some expressions which I wrote in Telugu have been taken for the Tamil version also. Sharrat has earlier composed music for ‘Kalavaramaye Madilo’ and the lyrics were written by me. I also worked for Siddharth’s ‘Oye’. I hope this movie will become a big hit.”
Priya Anand said, “After watching the film I was mesmerized with the feelings of love. Working with Siddharth was a pleasant experience. I hope the film becomes a big hit.”
Nitya Menon said, “My first film in Telugu was a big hit and I hope my second movie (180) also will be a big hit. The director crafted the film excellently. Music is fabulous. I’m very happy to be the part of this film.”
Siddarth while speaking, “This movie is a God’s blessings in my life. Director Jayendra knows me right from my childhood. My first remuneration was Rs 300 at the age of 8 years. This movie is being made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. The Telugu audience has given me life when I stepped here 7 years ago from Chennai. Now the Tamil audience is going to see me as a Telugu hero after 7 years. Sharrat provided excellent music. I’m confident about this film becoming a big success in Tamil also. ‘180’ is a unique film with great commercial values. I learnt a lot through this film. It’s also the first directorial venture for Jayendra garu. The latest technology was used to make this movie. Lyricist Vanamali is my good friend. He has very good influence over Telugu and Tamil as well. He rendered very good lyrics for this film. My role in this movie is quite different from the ones I played earlier. I thank one and all who made their presence felt in this audio function. I’m sure the movie will become a big hit.”
Suresh Babu, Dil Raju and Ram also wished for the success of the audio and the film.
