Oosaravelli Pre-Release Press Meet

NTR’s latest film ‘Oosaravelli’ under the direction of Surender Reddy being produced by BVSN Prasad on Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner is going to release on October 6th. On this eve a press meet was held today at Film Chamber in Hyderabad in which NTR, Surender Reddy, Vakkantam Vamsi and BVSN Prasad participated.

NTR said, “Oosaravelli does not change colours but changes the destiny of people. I’m playing a very positive role in this film. I neither tell punch dialogues nor do unnecessary fights to impress the audience in this film. All elements are natural as per the story. The movie is going to release on October 6th. This is my 2nd film with Surender Reddy and this is his 5th film. I could find lot of maturity in him as a director. ‘Adhurs’ was the first step to set a benchmark for me. I developed self-confidence in me after performing the role of Chari. Now I’m very confident of doing any kind of role after becoming successful as a lover boy in ‘Brindavanam’. I was able to do ‘Oosaravelli’ only due to those two movies. From now onwards I wanted to do variety roles without sticking to a particular pattern just like my grandfather. Surender Reddy made a new commercial film. We shot the film in 112 days. The audience will be shocked after watching this film as much as I became after listening to this story. I experienced the kind of feel that I had when I listened to the stories of ‘Aadi’ and ‘Simhadri’. I’m confident that ‘Oosaravelli’ will become as successful as ‘Student No. 1’ and ‘Brindavanam’ which were also released during Vijayadasami. This is a pure entertaining film. The story is about a guy who changes colours in a positive manner only to protect himself and the people surrounding him. Each episode is a highlight. The audio was already a super hit. Devisri Prasad scored excellent songs. My favourite song in ‘Oosaravelli’ is ‘Nenante Naaku Chalane Ishtam….’, when it comes to a dance oriented song, it is ‘Dandiya…’ and visually I like ‘Brathakali Ra…’ song. I was so confident about the film during the time of re-recording time only. Producer BVSN Prasad garu made the film without compromising anywhere. Vakkantam is a good friend of mine. He wrote the script for my ‘Ashok’ and now provided yet another interesting story titled ‘Oosaravelli’. The action scenes before the interval are the main attractions. Tamanna’s role is very important in the film which will twist the story. Her performance in this film is the best among all her films, especially in one scene she will make the audience roll down the tears from their eyes. Am sure that the audience will appreciate her performance. Right now I’m shooting for Boyapati Sreenu’s film and on the other hand discussion is going on regarding Sreenu Vaitla’s film after which I’ll be doing Puri Jagannath’s film.”

Vakkantham Vamsi said, “I’m eagerly waiting to see the audience’s reaction in the theaters. NTR wanted the movie to be taken just the way the story was narrated. The audience will get to see the director’s skills. He has proved his mettle through this film.”

Surender Reddy said, “I thank NTR for accepting this title. In general heroes will insist on the changes in script. However NTR accepted the changes in the film even before he listened to the script. That has boosted the confidence in me. We have completed all the formalities. The movie is ready for release on October 6th.”

Producer BVSN Prasad said, “We are releasing this film in maximum theaters worldwide. There are also special theaters for this film. We are very confident about the film’s success.”
