Mr. Nookayya Triple Platinum Disc

The triple platinum disc function of Manchu Manoj’s ‘Mr Nookayya’ was held in Hyderabad today on the eve of the success of its audio which was recently released. The film stars Manchu Manoj, Sana Khan and Kriti Karbanda in lead roles and is directed by a debutant Ani with DS Rao of Sri Sailendra Cinemas as its producer.

Sunil presented the triple platinum disc mementoes to the film unit. Others who attended the function were Sana Khan, Ani, DS Rao, Lakshmi Bhupal, Ramajogayya Sastry, etc.

Sunil said, “I used to listen to the song ‘Pista…Pista’ while going for ‘Poola Rangadu’ shooting everyday and with the same energy I also performed the dance in ‘Poola Rangadu’. The songs in this film are excellent. Hence I wish a huge success for the film also.”

Manchu Manoj said, “I thank Sunil who being the chief guest of this function. There is a great response for the songs from all kinds of audience, especially the songs ‘Okavela…’ and ‘Pista Pista…’. ‘Mr Nookayya’ is a mix of action and entertainment. Therefore I’m confident about the film becoming a big hit.”

Heroine Sana Khan said, “I’m eagerly waiting for the release of ‘Mr Nookayya’. I played an interesting role in this film. The songs are excellent. I had a new experience working with Manoj.”

Producer DS Rao said, “I’m very lucky to get wonderful technicians for this film. Eveyone worked really hard. Naveen’s editing, Rajasekhar’s camera work and Manoj’s real stunts are the highlights of the film. The movie is set to release on March 8th in 400 plus theaters.”

Director Ani said, “There is a huge response from the listeners for the songs that were recently released. Ramajogayya Sastry and Lakshmi Bhupal penned the aptly suitable lyrics for Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music. Our producer made this movie without compromising in anything. The output is great. I’m confident that the movie will become a huge hit and earn good reputation for our entire team.”
