Prominent Director Sukumar’s brother’s son Ashok is being introduced as hero through the film titled ‘Ctrl-C’. Ashok, who worked as assistant director for the films like ‘100% Love’ and ‘Nenokkadine’ in the past, is playing the lead role in the film which is being made under Second Independence banner. Disha Pandey is playing female lead. This film which is being made with software thriller concept, is being directed by Sai Ram Challa with Tatiparthi Prabhakar Reddy as producer. Meanwhile, the film’s motion poster was launched on July 1, at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. Prominent director and producer Sukumar graced the event as chief guest and revealed the motion poster.
Later in the press meet, Sukumar said, “During the attack on Twin Towers, hero and heroine in the film were saved from the disastrous collapse. They both finds one CD. What circumstances they have to face due to that CD-is the story of the film. It’s a never touched different genre film. I’ve seen the visuals. Night effects in the film are in par with international standards. It may not be lesser to any Hollywood movie. Director Sai Ram has crafted the film superbly. He and producer Prabhakar, both are good friends. It is Prabhakar’s dream to see his friend Sai Ram as director. Now his dream was fulfilled through this film.”
Director Sai Ram shared, “I’ve a good relationship with Sukumar since ten years. A short time ago I’ve expressed my wish to become a director to him. He has not only encouraged us, but also given valuable suggestions related to cinemas. He suggested us to first make small films and therefore you can get clear idea about films. Not just that, he handed over Ashok to us. The film is a thriller entertainer. The story is set in a software campus backdrop. I’m sure that the film will gives a different feel to the audience.”
Executive producer Sridhar Sanagala, Cinematographer Chandramouli, Banerjee and Prudhvi and some others were present at the poster launch function.
