Ram Charan celebrated his birthday today on the sets of ‘Racha’ one day before his birthday. At this juncture a press meet was held to brief the film’s progress.
Producer N V Prasad said, “On the eve of Ram Charan’s birthday tomorrow, I’m wishing him in advance on behalf of mega fans and the audiences. Regarding the movie’s progress, the dubbing work has been completed and currently the DTS mixing work is going on. The response for audio is great. The movie’s output is also turning out to be great. All elements that the audience expect in Charan’s movie is included in this film. ‘Racha’ will be a prestigious film on our banner in Charan’s career. I thank all technicians who worked for this film. We are planning to release ‘Racha’ in April 1st week in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.”
Director Sampath Nandi said, “I would firstly thank Mani Sharma garu for providing excellent music. The re-recording is also wonderful. My special thanks to Chandra Bose, Suddala Ashok Teja and Chinni Krishna for penning energetic lyrics. From the time we informed him that we are going to release the film in 1st week of April, Charan is working very hard without even bothering about his wounds which I would not have done if I was him. ‘Racha’ will be like a festival feast to the audience.”
Charan said, “Firstly I would like to say a few words about Sampath Nandi’s working style. He crafted the film in an amazing manner. I was inspired by the story when he narrated it to me. All elements required for the fans are there in this film. I worked very hard to give my best and be on par with my father’s dance in ‘Vaana Vaana’ song and it has really come out excellently. My chemistry with Tamannah is very good in this film. Hats off to Sameer for his cinematography. I’ll appear handsome in this film than any of my previous films.”
Tamannah said, “I completely enjoyed the shooting of ‘Racha’, even during nights. Working with Charan is an amazing experience. I’m also happy to work with the director like Sampath Nandi. He gives full freedom on the sets. I’m not very good at dances. I learnt dances only due to Bunny in ‘Badrinath’ and Charan in ‘Racha’. I toured the entire world on the name of ‘Racha’. I was very excited after seeing the rushes yesterday. I’m eagerly waiting for the film’s release. I thank Supergood Films banner, Prasad and Appa Rao garu for giving me this wonderful opportunity.”
'Racha' starring Ram Charan and Tamannah as lead pair is directed by Sampath Nandi and produced by N V Prasad and Paras Jain under Supergood Films banner. R B Chowdary is the presenter. Mani Sharma composed the music and Sameer Reddy is the cinematographer. 'Racha' is slated to release in 1st week of April.
