Sri Indra Chitra Banner has launched a film titled ‘Swamy Vivekananda’ today at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Politician and labour leader Late P Janardhan Reddy’s grandson Master Prabhath is making his debut as a child artist in this film which will be directed by Suresh Bujji. For the muhurat shot, Ashok Kumar sounded the clap board while Burugupalli Sivarama Prasad switched on the camera and Sagar directed the first shot. Other prominent guests were Prasanna Kumar and writer Chinni Krishna.
Addressing the media in a press meet child artist Prabhat said, “I was inspired by my grandfather and playing the role of Swamy Vivekananda. I seek the blessings of all.”
Chinni Krishna commented, Suresh Bujji is known to me for the past 20 years. He is one of the wonderful technicians who can sense the mass pulse. I wish him all the best for his new attempt.”
Prasanna Kumar said, “Suresh Bujji designed wonderful logos for ‘Indra’ and ‘Sye’. I wish this film to become a big hit and earn him an award.”
Suresh Bujji said, “I worked as a publicity designer for numerous films. I feel proud of myself for getting the thought to film ‘Swamy Vivekananda’ in order to inspire the youth. Many child artists are going to feature in this film. We are planning to shoot the film in Hyderabad, Gauhati, Himalayas and Kolkata. We will begin the shooting as soon as we finish the selections for child artists. I designed posters for films like ‘Annamayya’ and ‘Sriramadasu’. I wish the audience will watch this film and bless us.”
