Naayak Audio Release Function

The highly anticipated audio of Ram Charan Tej and VV Vinayak’s movie ‘Naayak’ was released on Monday, 17th December amidst huge fanfare. DVV Danayya is producing this action entertainer. Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul are the leading ladies. This audio album is the first time combination of Ram Charan and Thaman and the highlight of this album are the remix number ‘Subhalekha Rasukunna Yedalo Epudo…’ which was picked up from Chiranjeevi’s blockbuster film ‘Kondaveeti Donga’ and the title song ‘Hey Naayak’. Fans have thronged in thousands to attend this audio function. It was a star-studded glitzy event on Monday evening at Ramanaidu Studio Grounds in Nanakramguda.

The grand gala evening saw Ram Charan, wife Upasana, mother Surekha, sister Srija, Upasana’s parents, Pawan Kaluan, Allu Aravind, Allu Arjun, Kajal Agarwal, Amala Paul, SS Rajamouli, Srinu Vaitla, Boyapati Sreenu, Meher Ramesh, Gemini Kiran, Nallamalapu Srinivas, Ganesh Bandla, Chota K Naidu, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Dil Raju, DVV Danayya, N V Prasad, Akula Shiva and others. The colorful show was anchored by Suma.

Megastar and Central Minister Chiranjeevi could not attend the audio function as he was busy in Delhi. However his recorded speech was screened for the audience. Suma called the guests one by one to speak few words about the film followed by the trailer and audio launch. While Allu Arjun and SS Rajamouli released the trailers, Pawan Kalyan released the CDs and presented the first CD to his sister-in-law (Vadina) Surekha.

In the words of Chiranjeevi: “Ram Charan started a new practice of remixing the hit songs from my films, like ‘Bangaru Kodipetta…’ in ‘Magadheera’, ‘Vaana Vaana Velluvaiye…’ in ‘Racha’ and my favourite song ‘Subhalekha raasukunna yedalo epudo…’ in this film. The youth today are preferring only fast-beat songs. At this juncture I really do not understand why Vinayak, Thaman and Ram Charan have selected a melody song like this. ‘Naayak’ album has songs of all genres like fast beat, melody, modern, etc. Thaman composed wonderful music. When it comes to Charan, he had grown to a very high extent. Everyone keeps saying that there is grace in my dances, but even today I do not understand what it means. I’ve seen that grace in the song ‘Vaana Vaana…’ in ‘Racha’ and understood what people meant about grace. Charan’s dances and performance reflected me as an actor. All songs were picturised in superb locations. This film is aptly suitable for Vinayak’s taste and Ram Charan’s energy. Charan rocked in comedy, action as well as fights. He grew a step above as an actor.”

Further he said, “Naayak is a unique film. Chota K Naidu’s cinematography is extraordinary. I’m telling this because I’ve watched the rushes. The movie is sure to become a big hit. No doubt about it. The music and movie will be full meals to fans and audience. V V Vinayak is Naayak behind the screen but before that he became Naayak for the film ‘Tagore’. As long as that movie is in my memory, I’ll not forget Vinayak. The entire team worked very hard. Danayya is always hungry to make and deliver good films. He never compromises on anything when it comes to production values. I wish the film to become a grand success.”

Allu Arjun said, “I have seen many stars and their sons. But so far in my life I haven’t seen any star earning a great reputation like Charan. He is the real ‘Naayak’ in this film. Vinayak is one of the those people who wholeheartedly love Chiranjeevi garu. So I could image how he would have portrayed Charan in this film. My best wishes to my brother Vinayak and the entire film unit.”

SS Rajamouli said, “All my speculations have been cleared soon after the launch of Naayak’s first look. The title was aptly suitable to the simplicity of Charan in the film. Expectations are great. I believe that this movie will be on par with Chiranjeevi garu’s 150th film. I’m sure the movie will be a big hit.”

Pawan Kalyan said, “I normally talk as per the situation. But now I do not know what to talk. My best wishes to the film unit. The movie must become a big hit. I thank all fans who have come from such far places.”


Ram Charan said, "The stage appears insipid without my dad. But Pawan uncle fulfilled it by coming to this function. His presence has made me feel happy. It’s not me but Powerstar always comes next to my dad. Ity doesn’t mean that our family is united only if we are together on dais. We will be having our own priorities and work. Hence due to which it may not be possible to attend to any function. The media created its own story when Pawan uncle could not attend the audio function during ‘Racha’. That doesn’t mean we do not have love for each other. This dais is the answer to those who created buzz at that time. Such rumors are equal to my hair.”

V V Vinayak said, “The function appears bland without the presence of Chiranjeevi annayya. However Pawan Kalyan has made the function bright by replacing him. It’s a full-fledged commercial entertainer. It will appear good. Charan is a wonder to this film. I worked with him liked I worked with Chiranjeevi garu. He reminded me of Chiranjeevi garu while shooting few scenes. It was like Chiranjeevi garu started his career again. Charan is the apt hero for the film ‘Naayak’. His performance is very energetic. ‘Magadheera’ is a special movie among all his films. I hope ‘Naayak’ will join that list soon. Akula Shiva rendered wonderful story and dialogues. He worked day and night for this film. He is sure to become a big writer after the release of this film. Chota did a fantastic job. We shot the songs in Iceland and we experienced hell in that weather. Anand Sai sets are special attraction. Thaman gave tremendous music. This audio will be a little different when compared to my earlier films. Danayya garu supported me in all aspects in bringing out a good product. M Kajal in first half and Amala in second half and Charan in romantic scenes did wonderful jobs. ‘Naayak’ will be a big festival to mega fans and audiences. Very soon I will do a film with Pawan Kalyan.”

Kajal said, “I’m very happy to work with Charan once again after ‘Magadheera’. Vinayak garu is a comfortable director. Thaman’s music is appealing. I thank my producer Danayya garu. I believe that ‘Naayak’ will be equal to ‘Magadheera’.”

Amala Paul said, “I’m very happy to work with director director Vinayak garu and Charan. My best wishes to the entire team of ‘Naayak’.”

S Thaman said, “I thank my director and producer for giving me this opportunity. I am very happy to have worked with Charan for the first time. I hope everyone will like the songs. My special thanks to my lyricists and musicians.”

Chandra Bose said, “I worte Ram Charan’s introduction song in this film. This song has brought out a different angle of me.”

Sahiti said, “The item song in this film will entertain the audience as much as the item numbers ‘Aakalesthe…’ in ‘Shankar Dada Zindabad’, ‘Kevvu Keka….’ in ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Chedugudante Bhayyam…’ in ‘Bangaram’.
