Vishwaroopam Press Meet

Padmasri Dr Kamal Haasan’s self directorial venture ‘Vishwaroopam’ featuring Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah opposite him and Bollywood director Sekhar Kapoor in a key role is all set to be telecast across the globe through Dish TV, Airtel, Sun Direct and Videocon DTH in January. On this occasion a press meet was organised which was attended by Kamal Haasan, Sun Direct’s Madhusudan, Airtel’s Manoj Murali, Videocon’s B Gopal.

Kamal Haasan said, “For the past six months we have been planning to release ‘Vishwaroopam’ through DTH and faced lot of problems. We have finally decided to release the film through DTH after overcoming the entire problem. At this juncture I thank Rajeev Nayar, Chandrasekhar, Baladitya and others for supporting me in this process. I’m confident that the theater owners will not incur losses due to DTH system. This kind of technology came to our reach only now. Therefore I’m very confident that we will succeed in it. I thank all DTH companies for their trust and cooperation on me.”

The DTH subscription charges will be Rs 500/-. All members of respected DTH who participated in the press meet also expressed their happiness.
