Sevakudu Success Meet

‘Sevakudu’ starring Srikanth and Charmi, directed by V Samudra and produced by Mattineni Satyanarayana under Sri Venkataramana Art Production banner with Mattineni Ravindra Babu as presenter was released in theaters last week by Natti Kumar. The success meet was organised today in which Natti Kumar, Srikanth, Samudra, producer M Satyanarayana, Chitti Babu and Satya participated.

Natti Kumar said, “We have released the film in 270 theaters but due to some reasons the first two shows were not screened. There was wide response for the first show and the second show. It’s sad that the film was removed from theaters despite the collections being good right from the opening day. Therefore I request theater association heads like Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, Suresh Babu and N V Prasad to give life to small film by providing the theaters. According to my opinion there will not be any loss even if 5 theaters per area are given to small films in 1200 theaters that release a big film.”

Director Samudra said, “We are happy to note that ‘Sevakudu’ became successful in the beginning of 2013. The response is greater than our expectation. Collections are also good in all areas still the movie has been removed from theaters which is not a good sign. I request the distributors and exhibitors to give life to small films. There is wide response for Brahmanandam’s comedy and Krishna’s dialogues. Srikanth’s performance was superb. I thank the Telugu audience for making the film a hit.”

Srikanth said, “Sevakudu received good name on par with ‘Mahatma’ and ‘Operation Duryodhana’. The response is good in all areas. Collections are also good. I thank the audience for making it a hit.”
