Kaali Charan Theatrical Trailer Launch

Sri Praveen’s ‘Kali Charan’ starring Chaitanya Krishna, Chandini, Pankaj Kesari, Kavitha Srinivasan, Nagireddy and Rao Ramesh in central roles is a bilingual film simultaneously being made in Telugu and Tamil with story on backdrop of 1980s. With Baby Manaswini as presenter, Sri Praveen is directing and producing it. Jupalli Srinivas is the line producer. The trailer was launched this evening in Hyderabad. Dil Raju graced the event and launched the trailer.

Soon after that Dil Raju offered his best wishes to the team and said, “The title ‘Kaalicharan’ is interesting. We normally find such films in Tamil only. I’m happy to note that films of that genre are also being made in Telugu. Trailer is attractive. I wish the film will attract the audience too.”

Hero Chaitanya Krishna said, “I maintained my beard for 10 months for this film. I did an role that has intensity. Director Sri Praveen extracted from me what he wanted. I trust the movie will attract everyone.”

Director Sri Praveen said, “I’m crafting the film in Telugu and Tamil. I’m doing this film in Telugu with the intension of creating awareness among the audience that such films are being made in Telugu as well. The story is on backdrop of 80s. While the Tamil version will show the story on backdrop of Namakkal village, the Telugu version will showcase the same as Palamooru story. There are enough commercial elements. We utilized the real name Erra Satyam as it is and informed his family members. I was inspired by his story and used his name as it is. We have completed the censor formalities this afternoon. The audio launch will take place next week. The film will be released either in last week of this month or first week of May.”

Line producer Jupally Srinivas also spoke in the event.
