Sri Nag Corporation’ ‘Adda’ starring Sushanth and Shanvi in lead roles is taking shape under the direction of G Karthik Reddy with music by Anoop Rubens. The tagline of this film is ‘Lock Your Love’. A Naga Susheela and Chintalapudi Srinivas Rao are jointly producing the film and present it on Annapurna Studios banner. The promotional song sung by Baba Sehgal was released on Sunday in Hyderabad.

Music director Anoop Rubens launched the trailer and said, “This is my first film under Srinag Corporation banner. This banner which is in corporated style is very disciplined. The director has good clarity on the film since he is a dialogue writer too. He works with great passion. Sushanth’s performance is wonderful. ‘Adda’ is sure to become a big success.”

Hero Sushanth said, “Two more songs are left for shooting which we are planning to do it in Switzerland. Producer Srinivasa Rao garu has been very organised right from my first film. The storyline is very fresh and my character too. We are all very excited about the film. Director showed me very well on the screen. I’m sure everyone will like the promotional song. Our entire team worked very hard. Baba Sehgal sung this song. Anoop Rubens did a great job. It will be difficult to say which is best in the album as each song is best at its own. I’m confident that these songs will be on top 5 chartbuster list.”

Director Karthik Reddy said, “I’m happy that produer Srinivas Rao garu accepted to do this film despite being ready with another big director’s script. Even though many were not confident about me, he gave green signal by trusting me. Anoop is a good friend of mine. I torchered him a lot. He rendered all good songs. He did all class songs in the past. But in this film he has tried all kinds of tunes. Sushanth did this promotional song secretly and told me only after the completion. It’s excellent. We are planning to release the film next month. We have done our best to bring out the best output. Now we have to wait and see for the audience’s verdict.”

Producer Chintalapudi Srinivas said, “Adda will touch those who have real heart. Despite being new to direction, the director did wonderful job. The promotional song will tell the range of the movie, concept, making values and Sushanth’s performance. This is the third film on our banner. ‘Kalidas’ and ‘Current’ were also directed by debut directors and we are introducing another new director through this film. Anoop gave his career best music in this film. His music is currently the hot favourite among the youth. Shanvi got introduced through the movie ‘Lovely’ and gave wonderful performance in this movie which is her second. We are going to release the audio in May end and the film in June end.”

Producer Naga Susheela said, “My father used to always say that films with love and entertainment are called universal films. He succeeded as an actor by doing several such films. The storyline of this film gave me the feel that this film also belongs to that genre. My father too said that this movie will be a big hit. ‘Adda’ is a good film with all kinds of emotions. None will be disappointed with this film. It is sure to satisfy all kinds of audience.”
