Satya-2 Trailer Launch

Ram Gopal Varma is coming up with the sequel to ‘Satya’ starring Sharwanand and Anaika as lead pair. This film is being produced by Mummath And Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Trailer was launched in Hyderabad on Friday.

Soon after that Ram Gopal Varma addressed the gathering saying, “I shot the film ‘Satya’ based on the incidents occurred in 1998. Now, the sequel has been been made based on today’s social issues. I thoroughly studied the psychology of a criminal before starting this film. In this film, I’m showing how the circumstances would have been if a person like Dhirubai Ambani would have chosen the route of underworld instead of corporate.”

Speaking further he said, “Original film ‘Satya’ is all about a young guy who comes to the city and experiences different issues. This ‘Satya’ is also about the guy Satya who comes to the city and experience different incidents. There are few of my ideas in the film ‘Businessman’. I’ve told that several times before. But there is no connection between that film and this film. The reason for doing film in this genre is, everyone will attempt love stories, commercial stories and family movies. So I want to do different and hence did this film. I don’t want to bore the audience by giving messages. People appreciated as well as criticized my voice over in ‘Rakta Charitra’. But I gave voice over to this film keeping the appreciations in mind. Sharwanand is a realistic artist. And my film is realistic too. Hence I chose him for my film. I respect rowdies because I’m able to earn my bread only because of them, by making films based on their incidents. Hence I respect them a lot.”

Sharwanand said, “Varma is a brilliant director in India. My long wish and childhood dream of working with him got fulfilled with this film. Every moment of my working experience has given me a lot of pleasure. It’s really a great opportunity. A new type of crime is being projected in this film. I believe that everyone will like this film.”

Anaika said, “Satya is my first film. I thank Varma for giving me the opportunity to be part of the film. I did this film with lot of excitement. Sharwanand is a great artist. See and enjoy the film.”
