Bhai Press Meet

Nagarjuna-Richa Gangopadhyay starrer ‘Bhai’ shooting is almost complete. This Annapurna Studios Pvt Ltd., movie directed by Veerabhadram, produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna and to be presented by Reliance Entertainment will be released in September end and the audio of it is expected to be out on September 1st. A press meet was held by Nagarjuna on Saturday in Hyderabad to brief the film’s progress. At the same venue, he unvealed the Annapurna Studio Youtube Channel, website, ‘Bhai’ bullets page in facebook, digital poster and wallpapers.

Firstly director Veerabhadram briefed some of the film’s details. He said, “We have completed the shooting. Nagarjuna garu is the main person to start this project as he encouraged me to do this project soon after ‘Poola Rangadu’. We shot ‘Bhai’ in several places. 99% of the industry people started their career in Annapurna Studios. We have erected a set costing Rs 1 crore in Annapurna Studios for the film. I thank all those who supported me for carving the film so well.”

Later addressing the media Nagarjuna said, “I’ve come to this press meet directly from ‘Manam’ shooting. I’m very happy that a film is being made in the combination of me, dad and Chaitu. ‘Bhai’ is a regular commercial movie. Choudary narrated this script to me after ‘Poola Rangadu’. He is known to provide ample entertainment in his movies. I liked the entertainment part in ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’ too. This film also has the same level of entertainment. Any movie that is mixed with action and entertainment will be a hit. And ‘Bhai’ is a movie that has both. The entire family can sit and watched the film together as there is no violence in it. There are quite a lot of dialogues like “Hyderabadlo rende famous, okati Irani Chai, rendu Bhai”. There is good technical support too for this film. Sameer Reddy (cinematographer) and Devisri Prasad had put in lot of efforts. I’ll be seen in three different looks in ‘Bhai’. While the first is a write hand person for a Don in Hong Kong, second is the person in old city look and the third is when ‘Bhai’ meets his family members. We shot this film in Thailand, Slovenia Castle and Annapurna Studios. An old city set was erected in Annapurna Studios for this film. I also speak in old city accent in this film. Few Hindi dialogues were also included as per the story demand."

Speaking further he said, “Henceforth all information related to us will be available in our website. We are planning for ‘Bhai’ audio launch event on September 1st and the movie also in the same month.”
