Toofan Audio Release (Set 6)

Audio of Ram Charan, Priyanka Chopra, Prakash Raj, Srihari, Tanikella Bharani and Mahi Gill starrer ‘Thoofan’ was grandly released on Tuesday in Hyderabad. Victory Venkatesh, Ram Charan, Apoorva Lakhia, Sanjeev Lamba, Mahesh Ramanathan, Allu Aravind, Anil Rigva, Puneet Prakash Mehra, Saketh Sahani, Anjan Bhattacharya, Mahi Gill, VV Vinayak, Dil Raju, Vamsi Paidipally, Tanikella Bharani, Chandra Bose, Shivaji Sarkar, Lakshmi Sen, Yogi, Sarath Maraar, Prasad, Praveen, Sanjay, Sridhar and others attended the audio function. VV Vinayak released the theatrical trailer while Venkatesh released the first audio CD and presented it to Allu Aravind.

Later addressing the audience Venkatesh said, “Charan rocked with ‘Chiruta’ and swept with ‘Naayak’ and next is all set to appear as ACP Vijay Khanna in ‘Thoofan’. Trailers are very impressive. All fans can celebrate it. Charan will definitely see good results for his dedication and hardwork. I speak whole heartedly even though I speak less. This film will be truly a big festival for fans. Apoorva did a wonderful job. All the best to the producers.”

Ram Charan said, “Venky brother came to this function just by receiving a phone call. I used to address him as uncle during my childhood. But he appears like a brother now. Many have expressed their displeasure for my agreeing to do ‘Thoofan’ while my market in Telugu is at peak stage. However, I never did anything for my benefit. I just trusted the story and director and went ahead with the confidence that my fans would support me. Venky uncle also worked for Hindi films. Similarly dad and Nagarjuna garu also did Hindi films. So following their footsteps I wanted to make a good attempt. I do not have any other intention of doing a Bollywood film except to entertain the audience. I never aimed at earning more and becoming a big star there. I’m experimenting with films only with the confidence given by fans and with what I’ve learnt from dad and babaai. In the process while making such attempts the budget shoots up and I did it hoping some good profits for the producers. It took more than 8 months to accept Apoorva’s offer. Although I was hesitant to do this film, dad advised me not to back-off if I’m satisfied with the script. So that’s how I went ahead with this project. I’m very happy and thankful to Apoorva for presenting such a wonderful film to my fans. I also thank my music directors and special thanks to Chandra Bose garu who travelled 10 years with dad. He penned all songs in one night to this film. Thanks to my producers too. ‘Thoofan’ is releasing on September 6th and I hope everyone will enjoy the film. Special thanks to Yogi for his support.”

Srihari said, “Except Priyanka everything else is attractive in this film. I flew down to Mumbai when Charan called me urgently. And I was given the role of Sher Khan which was done by Pran (in the original). Special thanks to Charan for giving a friend like Apoorva Lakhia. After working in this film I feel like working with Apoorva for life-time. I told that ‘Magadheera’ will run for a year. But everyone looked down upon me like an insane. However I’m once again telling now that ‘Thoofan’ will create Tsunami because the effects are so good in this film. Apoorva Lakhia is courageous than Charan and both have attempted ‘Zanjeer’ boldly. It’s sure to become a blockbuster and show the power of a Telugu man in Mumbai.”

VV Vinayak said, “Thoofan will truly create a Thoofan. I saw few rushes with Charan. The audience will see a new emotion in Charan. Wishing the movie a super hit I offer my best wishes to Apoorva Lakhia, Reliance and the entire team.”

Allu Aravind said, “Congrats to Charan and Apoorva Lakhia. The specialty of this film is that the film has been produced in Hindi and Telugu at the same time and will definitely cross the Rs 100 crore mark. I saw few clippings. Congrats to Apoorva.”

Chandra Bose said, “It’s an unforgettable experience of writing all songs in this film. I penned good songs in ‘Magadheera’, ‘Racha’ and ‘Naayak’ and I penned all songs in this film. Ram Charan is the main inspiration for penning all songs in this film. He encouraged me so much when I went to Mumbai to present them the song ‘Mumbai Ka Hero…’. I wrote the entire song on a single night. So I take this opportunity to thank him. My favourite song in this film is ‘Premincha nee perunu….vachestha Vizag ki….’. My special thanks to Yogi for his efforts to connect to the Telugu audiences.”

Director Apoorva Lakhia said, “Charan is rock star. I’m sure everyone will enjoy ‘Thoofan’. This is the first Telugu film which is being made under Dolby Digital Atmos.”

Mahi Gill, who did a prominent role in the film expressed her happiness to have worked with Ram Charan. She concluded saying that ‘Thoofan’ is her first Telugu film.
