Anandi Art Creations’ latest movie is ‘Venkatadri Express’ starring Sundeep Kishan and Rakul Preet Singh. With Kiran as producer, Merlapaaka Gandhi is directing the film with cinematography by Chota K Naidu and music by Ramana Gogula. Shooting is currently progressing in Hyderabad. On this occasion a press meet was held at the shooting location. Sundeep Kishan, Rakul Preeth Singh, director Gandhi, producer Kiran, music director Ramana Gogula, cinematographer Chota K Naidu and others participated.
Sundeep Kishan said, “Venkatadri Express is a very prominent movie in my film career. I got introduced to Gandhi through one of my friends. I was very impressed when he narrated the story to me. So I decided to do this film at any cost. Chota garu is very close to me after my dad. So though I was little hesitant to ask him to work for our film, later I initiated it because I knew he would agree to it since I have already worked for few films. He was also impressed with the story. Except me all other artists and technicians are well experienced. This will be the highest budget film in my career.”
Rakul Preeth Singh said, “I consider this film as a rare opportunity. So it’s very special to me. I’m very happy for getting chance to work with a wonderful team. This movie is about the petty quarrels between a guy and a girl.”
Ramana Gogula said, “I feel proud to be part of this project. This film is being made on big banner, big technicians and a good story. Gandhi is dealing with the subject extremely well. I felt very happy while doing the re-recording work. Sundeep Kishan did a wonderful job. Chota’s cinematography is excellent. Opening sequence is superb. Similarly heroine did a wonderful job too. We are planning to release the audio on 25th.”
Chota K Naidu said, “Sundeep is my nephew. He grew up with craze on films. During his childhood, he used to tell that he had prepared a story for Pawan Kalyan and would ask me to introduce Rehman. But I always used to advice him to study well as I know the difficulties in this line. I never encouraged him. However I later observed his talent and joined him as an assistant to Gautham Menon. Gradually he developed interest in acting and showed ‘Prasthanam’ to me one day. I was shocked. I appreciated his work. He has been asking me to do a film with him for the past four years. So I said I would do if I like the story. I was excited with the story of this director. It’s very cool and entertaining film. Shooting began one week after I listened to the story. Team is good. Kiran is producing this film only by trusting the story despite the budget being on higher side. All experienced technicians are working for this film.”
Director Gandhi said, “This is my first directorial venture. I did my direction course in LV Prasad Film School. I got introduced to Sundeep Kishan through a friend of mine. Sundeep was vey excited with the story when I narrated it to him. He said that we should this film at any cost. We used to think a lot about this script everyday and used to make changes accordingly. When I narrated the story to Chota garu, he was thoroughly enjoying it. Later he introduced me to Kiran garu. He okayed the film in three sittings only. So I take this opportunity to thank Chota garu and Kiran garu. I am working with the best team for my first film. I feel very lucky about that. Brahmaji is playing the role of hero’s brother. This film will be as much enjoyable as when a family travels from Hyderabad to Tirupathi. We are planning to release the audio on 25th.”
