Sensational director Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Ice Cream’ which was released recently is running successfully. Soon after that film’s release, he’s coming with ‘Ice Cream’ sequel ‘Ice Cream-2’ with same cast Navdeep and Tejaswi Madivada in the lead roles. ‘Ice Cream’ success meet was organized on Wednesday (16th July) and on this occasion first look of ‘Ice Cream-2’ was released. Later a press meet was held.
Speaking at the function, Dasari Narayana Rao said, “Everyone is aware of the fact that, these days the story of the film is not important. The factors that are driving the films at this moment are stardom and budget. Instead of concentrating on stardom and budget, if we believe in good ideas to make films they will bring profits to the producers and our ‘Ice Cream’ is an example. I have noticed lot of changes in Varma. I came to know that Varma was rude to the media. But, being frank, straight forward and bold is his attitude. I am hopeful that he would try to change his attitude.
Coming to the film, technically he held the story firmly and he is going ahead with the technological advancement. He has introduced flow cam technology with ‘Ice Cream’ and not just this we can make wonders with the present technology. If we use flow cam technology properly, steady cam will become out dated in the present future.
Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana is mad about producing films and has gone to next level by producing Ram Gopal Varma’s film. These days I have never heard of 1 Crore table profit. The profit was 20 folds of that of investment. If we compare investment and profit, ‘Ice Cream’ is a huge hit.”
”The press note which I have released recently was not to everyone. It is intended to single person sitting in the dark. I am apologizing to everyone, if it hurts anyone’s feelings. We started the film with good technicians and team work. I have told every technician at the beginning of the film that we have to work hard first and once the goal is achieved then only we will get the returns for our efforts. The system that I have introduced has shown results,” avers Ram Gopal Varma.
Rama Satyanarayana said, “Making a film with Varma and its success was like a dream. We have released ‘Ice Cream’ in 217 theaters just because of his brand value. Only I enjoyed the profit and success from all the films which I have produced till now. But, with this film even distributors gained profits. I have got whatever I had invested for the film and that is why I have given remuneration for the cast and crew on the stage. This is my first success and I am producing ‘Ice Cream-2’ even.”
