Oka Laila Kosam Prerelease Press Meet

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya- Pooja Hegde starrer, romantic youthful entertainer ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ is all set for release on 17th of October. The film is produced King Nagarjuna under his leading production house Annapurna Studios. Vijay Kumar Konda, who tasted the success with the film ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde’, is the director. On this occasion, the film unit has arranged a press meet.

Speaking at the press meet, Akkineni Nagarjuna said, “The film has completed the censor formality one and half a month ago and since then, we are looking forward for a good release date. We have chosen a good release date even for ‘Manam’ movie. ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ is the second film for Vijay Kumar Konda after ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde’. Vijay has crafted this as a wonderful entertainer. Anoop and Pooja Hegde are the big plus to the film. The film will stand out as a biggest hit in Naga Chaitanya’s career. This love story is made on the lines of my earlier film ‘Nirnayam’. A series of feel good love stories are coming out from our banner. My father Akkineni Nageswara Rao used to do this type of films in his days. Naga Chaitanya has a romantic star image with the film ‘Ye Maya Chesave’. Now, he has to get an action image.”

Naga Chaitanya expressed, “I’m very excited that I did a feel good love entertainer. Pooja’s character will be the highlight for the film, while Ali simply creates comic magic. Audience will like it for sure.”

Director Vijay Kumar Konda, said, “I’m very happy that I have directed the 25th film of leading production house Annapurna Studios. Naga Chaitanya plays Karthik. Karthik presents a beautiful gift to his girlfriend. The gift was ever given by any boyfriend to his girlfriend in the world till now. You must watch it on the screen what Karthik did for his Laila. Naga Chaitanya gave wonderful performance. The film came out well and everyone will like this feel good love entertainer for sure.”

On this occasion, Anoop Rubens said, “This is my second movie with Vijay Kumar and this is the third musical hit with Naga Chaitanya. Vijay has extracted good music from me. At first I was a bit hesitant to do remix song because I’m afraid that the originality may be spoiled. The audio has achieved good success. I hope the film will become a big hit.”

Addressing the gathering, Pooja Hegde stated, “I did a tough role in the film. I’m so happy to be here and working with a wonderful co-star Naga Chaitanya. Everyone will like the film for sure.”

Cinematographer Andrew too spoke at the press meet and he is very confident about the success of the film.
