Ragalahari caught up with the multi-talented young lady Snigdha, who is now eagerly waiting for the release of ‘Routine Love Story’ on November 23rd. Besides playing a supporting role in the film, she also gave voice-over to this youthful romantic flick. Snigdha shared about her film career and personal life in this special interview. Here are some excerpts from this aspiring artist cum musician.

Artist cum music director Snigdha, started of her career as a musician with the composition of a title song for Bunty Garu (Chakravakam) in a TV serial ‘Nijamga’.  Later she turned into a playback singer with the song ‘Vela Vela’ for Anil in ‘Sambhavami Yuge Yuge’.  This has fetched her opportunities to croon songs in five more films including the theme song of ‘Indumathi’ and background song in Uday Kiran’s ‘Gunde Jhallumandi’.  Apart from this, she gave wide range of performances in several musical shows in USA, Rajahmundry, Chennai, Vijayawada, Vizag, Guntur, Tirupathi and Hyderabad.  Snigdha has lent her voice in some devotional & Pop Albums too. She is trained in Western Music and has an uncanny knack of singing the songs in a lively manner.

People recognize and admire Snigdha for her own distinctive style of performances. She puts her Mind, heart and soul in modulating her voice according to various songs situations and possessed the talent of mesmerizing the entire Crowd by her energetic performances. She is also active volunteer for NGOs and performed charity fund raising shows in Chennai. She turned music director recently and her first venture "Rushi" was well applauded.

Snigdha has been part of films like ‘Ala Modalaindi’, ‘Dammu’, ‘Rushi’, ‘Mem Vayasuku Vacham’, etc., as a character artist. While her ‘Routine Love Story’ is ready to hit screens tomorrow, her next film ‘Okkadine’ is in final leg of preparation. 

She is currently acting in 5 more films which are under brisk production.  Snigdha’s Telugu Pop album is all set to hit the pop charts next year. She was also invited to attend the NATA 2012, USA, as a celebrity guest along with Balakrishna, Rajendra Prasad, Parvathy Melton and Shivaji.

Besides singing she pursues a wide range of interests such as Traveling, Sports, Adventure, and Dance and is a Food & Movie lover. Born to Dr. Jagadish & Rajeshwari on January 15 in Rajahmundry, Snigdha is a MBA Gold Medalist from Sir. C R R College, Eluru. “I am a very spiritual person with optimistic attitude towards life and have Music as my passion. Unshakable faith in me, hard work & determination has been the strongholds in my life,” she says.
