Adivi Sesh started his film journey with ‘Karma’ and became famous with ‘Panjaa’. Now he is coming out with a new conceptual movie on love titled ‘Kiss’ which was directed by himself. He is shortly going to join ‘Baahubali’ sets, but before that, he is eagerly waiting to see the audience’s response for his directorial venture ‘Kiss’, releasing on this 13th. With him and Priya Benerjee as lead cast and himself as the captain of the ship, his brother Sai Kiran Adivi, produced this cute love story. Check out what Adivi Sesh had to say about his shortly going to release film ‘Kiss’.

Sesh Adivi on KissWhat can you say about the film ‘Kiss’ and its theme to interest audiences?
Title ‘Kiss’ got good response.  I played a thief who don’t know how to steal things.  ‘Kiss’ is about a guy who goes to the US using an unauthorized passport and meets a Telugu girl.  What happens in the next 24 hours forms the rest of the story.  For me, problem solving is simple as I’m an easy going guy. That’s how the tagline of our film is ‘Keep it Simple Stupid’.

Can you please elaborate a little more about the film?
I penned this story based on a love that blossoms between a carefree street boy and a girl from a rich class.  The movie is made up of small emotions.  It’s basically a sweet romantic movie which the entire family can sit and enjoy together as there is no vulgarity anywhere in the film.  The audience will experience a new feeling for two hours.

Having worked with your brother, is there something that you connect with, like his style of filmmaking?
My brother and myself together developed the script.  But when it comes to direction, his flavour is seen nowhere in the film.  Since he has good grip on comedy, audience will find his comedy little bit in the film.  I need to mention one more thing specifically that he had done an excellent job in production.

Could you talk little bit about music too?
There is good response to music, especially for the title song and the song ‘Ee Kshanam….’.  Songs got good number of clicks and also downloads in the form of caller tunes and ring tones.  The main reason for the best output of the film is the entire team having good music knowledge.  I’m very happy to note that the title song received good response at overseas too.

Who’s your inspiration in acting field?
My favourite actor is SVR garu because he did all kind of roles that includes hero, villain, father and several other characters.  Although I don’t deserve to compare myself with a great personality like him, still I wish to be called as good actor as him.  When it comes to direction I will direct films only when I come across subjects like ‘Kiss’.  My first preference will always be for acting.

You appeared to have got a good image with ‘Panjaa’?
Yes, ‘Karma’ was my first film as an actor, but ‘Panjaa’ earned me a good recognition. ‘Karma’ too received good appreciations even though it was not a commercial success.

What’s next for Adivi Sesh?
My next movie is Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’.  Shooting of my character is yet to begin.  In the mean time, I’m getting trained in the sword fighting.

So you are finally releasing the film on 13th?
"Yes, we are releasing ‘Kiss’ on this 13th and I’m confident that the movie will receive good response from the audience.  The film will connect easily to the common man.  There are only two main characters in it.  While it's me in male lead role, Priya Benerjee played a prominent role too as a leading lady", said the budding star before concluding his media interview.
