I have done a good role in 'Annapurnamma Gaari Manavadu': Archana

Archana has spoken to the media about her role in the movie. "After a bad year like 2020, I wish that everyone is happy in 2021. I grew up watching the movies of Annapurnamma and Jamuna garu. Our film is coming out with a new concept.

'Annapurnamma Gaari Manavadu' stars as many as 36 notable actors from Tollywood and Kollywood, including veteran actress Jamuna. Annapurnamma, the senior actress, will be seen as the grandma. Master Ravi Teja has played her grandson in this family entertainer. Baladitya and Archana are its lead pair.

Directed by Narra Sivanageswara Rao, the winner of a National Award, this one is directed by MNR Chowdhary. The film is about the importance of the joint family system. Set in a serene village, it will release in theatres on January 29.

Ahead of its release, Archana has spoken to the media about her role in the movie. "After a bad year like 2020, I wish that everyone is happy in 2021. I grew up watching the movies of Annapurnamma and Jamuna garu. Our film is coming out with a new concept," she said.

Saying that she is happy to have got to act in the film, Archana added that 'Kala Tapasvi' K Viswanath has complimented the makers. "I have played the role of a medico who goes to any extent for the sake of her love. We have also touched upon the menace of honour killings. It's a performance-oriented role," she added.

Saying that the director has designed the songs so well, she hoped that she will land more offers after the release of the family entertainer. "I am sincere in what I do. After 'Nenu', I received a number of good roles. I played Goddess Sita in 'Sri Ramadasu'. I have never been limited to stereotypical roles," Archana added.

As someone who loves dancing, Archana is not averse to doing special songs and glamorous roles. The married actress is currently based in Hyderabad.
