Shakalaka Shankar's out-and-out romantic horror-comedy 'Bomma Adirindi-Dimma Thirigindi' will release on February 5. Priya has played a prominent role in it. In this interview, she talks about the film, her role in it, her upcoming movies and more.

I hail from Tandur. My father is an ex-sarpanch there. I studied in Hyderabad, where I studied Engineering at Mallareddy. I landed a job at TCS after my B.Tech.

I happened to visit a studio and was offered the role of a stand-up comedienne towards the end of 2016. As 'Pataas' Priya, I gained fame. I slowly entered the film industry, having done 'Thupaki Ramudu'. I have done a Tamil movie, which is directed by a writer who had worked under Vijayendra Prasad garu (Rajamouli's father).

Coming to 'Bomma Adirindi Dimma Thirigindi', it's about a few college friends who plan a get-together. They face unforeseen consequences in a bungalow. My character's name is Sree Mukhi in the movie. I am a chef. What happens after my character enters the screen would be entertaining.

It was a new experience to do a horror movie. It felt good doing such a movie. Director Kumar garu is very clear. His execution is as good as his narration. Although he is a debutant, he has done his best.

Doing stand-up is totally different. I played a handicapped person in 'Thupaki Ramudu'. In this film, I am a ghost.

I have known Shakalaka Shankar for six years. He is a very supportive person and is always encouraging.

I am also doing a film under UV Creations. I will be doing a film directed by Nageshwar Rao garu, opposite Aadi Saikumar. I would like to do a web series if something interesting comes. My dream role is to play ten roles in a movie, like in 'Dasavatharam'. I am open to glamorous roles but not for the sake of it.
