Rexona T20 Tollywood Cricket Trophy (Set-3)

The hero of the day was our ‘Sisindri’ Akhil Akkineni who scored a half century (52) with five 4s and three 6s in the finals between Nag Kings and Venky Warriors and helping his team “Nag Kings” win the T 20 Tollywood Trophy. The little hero won Man of the Match as well as the Man of the Series. Other winners were Man of the Match in Match 1 - Adarsh, Man of the Match in Match 2 – Tarakaratna and Classic Catch – Sumanth.

While in the first match, Venky Warriors won by 7 wickets against Balayya Lions, in the second match, Nag Kings won by 8 runs against Chiru Cheethas. Finally Nag Kings met Venky Warriors in finals and won the T20 Tollywood Trophy by stupendous 9 wickets. The cricket match went on to be a successful one only because the actors took it seriously and played it in a professional manner. Chief Minister K Roshaiah graced the event as a chief guest and gave away the prizes. Head of Tollywood Dasari Narayana Rao, State Ministers Geetha Reddy and Sabita Reddy also made their presence felt at the glitzy event.
