The 17th annual celebrations of the Kalamandir Foundation were conducted in a grand manner this week in Hyderabad. The event was a visual treat, graced by politicians, film celebrities, business professionals, social workers, and the organizers of the Kalamandir Foundation.
Speaking at the event, film actor and comedian Ali said, "It’s not about how long we live, but about how much service we do—that’s what truly matters. Similarly, for the Kalamandir Brothers, it’s not about how many branches they own, but how many people they have served. Every year, the Kalamandir annual celebrations are conducted with fervour. They serve many differently-abled individuals and offer timely financial assistance. Perhaps that's why Kalamandir continues to shine."
Screenwriter BVS Ravi began his speech by extending birthday wishes to Kalamandir founder Prasad. He remarked that Prasad is creating a mark of his own in the ever-evolving stock market. He added that women are the real reason behind Kalamandir’s dazzling success. "Not only the six women from Prasad’s own family who stand by him, but also the many women who are part of the larger Kalamandir family have contributed to its glory," Ravi said.
Actor Manchu Manoj, who was recently seen in Bhairavam, said the Kalamandir celebration was grand and a feast for the eyes. He also wished Prasad a happy birthday. The actor said that it's heartening to see not just the business growth of Kalamandir, but also its service to so many people. "What started as a single branch has now expanded to 60 branches across the country. This is because of the immense dedication and hard work of Kalyan and Prasad," Manoj said.
Waltair Veerayya and Daaku Maharaaj director Bobby Kolli said that he hopes Prasad celebrates many more such birthdays for the next hundred years. He added that Prasad could easily celebrate his birthday in some lavish way in Dubai by spending crores, but for the past 17 years, he has chosen to celebrate it by serving many differently-abled individuals along with the Kalamandir family. "His initiatives are truly inspirational," Bobby said.
Actor Sree Vishnu said that many people earn money, get educated, and travel to developed places, but only very few feel the urge to serve others in their motherland. He said that Prasad has a truly noble heart for doing so. He sincerely wished that many more such service programs would be undertaken in the future.
