Amala at Monsoon Regatta Fun Race

Actor and Social activist Amala Akineni has evinced keen interest in the Tata Photon Monsoon Regatta and is visiting the kids who are participating from Hyderabad Government School under the jurisdiction of the Yacht Club of Hyderabad. These kids are being trained by the President of the Yacht Club of Hyderabad, Mr. Suheim Sheikh at the Yacht Club of Hyderabad. These kids have been exposed to two nationals, with one of the kids, Praveen finishing 28th at Kochi.

Amala reached the Yacht Club at 11:15 AM and took a VIP boat upto the racing area and met the kids on the water and brought them back for some interaction on the shore. The kids were enthused by her visit.

She also spent some time with the top athletes of the Monsoon Regatta during their breaks from racing. She was at the venue till about 1PM.
