Rachnoutsav Academy-the only college offering undergraduate courses in management along with professional certificate courses in events in Hyderabad, held its very first Inter College Cultural Festival Jalwa-2015 this Friday the 23rd Jan 2015.
This cultural festival acted as a platform for showcasing the best talent in Hyderabad and engaging in connecting, creating moments of joy, exchange of ideas and fostering a spirit of healthy competition among the youth.
About two hundred students from the best colleges across the city of Hyderabad participated in the various category of events.
In the category of street play named Nukkad Natak teams from different colleges shared their view on various social and cultural causes and their ideas on finding sustainable solutions.
The Zing-had participants showcasing their talents such as dance, mime, singing, mono acting in 90 seconds. In the group dance competition named Spin and Twirl—the participants danced on popular Bollywood numbers and enthralled the audience.
The Fashion Show with the theme ofNeon colours and Bling had young boys and girls dressed up emulating the world of fashion bringing a fresh twist with their ideas.
Speaking on the occasion Ms Rakhi the Founder and Director said the Rachnoutsav is a name synonymous with events being an education initiative of Rachnoutsav Private limited one of the leading event management and wedding planning company in the country. She said that Jalwa- the inter college cultural festival has been started with an intent of bringing a holistic approach towards education where the youth can hone skills of communication, creativity and innovation and instill self confidence.
The winners were felicitated with prizes and medals. The atmosphere was charged with frolics, encouragement and applause. A vote of thanks was proposed by Ms Monisha Anand, Head Training and Content with a promise to meet again the next academic year.
