Inter National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD), India's leading fashion and design education conqlornerate with over 180 centres across lndia organised a Fashion Show here in Hyderabad today showcasinq the designer collection by INIFD-Hyderabad students. Organised as part of the Fresher's Day celebrations, the Fashion Show had Models showcasing 15 collections by the students of INIFD-Hyderabad centre to welcome the freshers into the world of fashion, glitz and glamour. In between the Fashion show segments •there were also dance and song performances by the students.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sanjay Saraswat, INIFD Regional Director, Andhra Pradesh welcomed the freshers into the world of fashion and reminded students that fashion industry is not just about glamour but there is a lot of hard work involved. He said that INIFD has always strived to provide the best education and exposure for its students in today's changing dynamics of the world of fashion. Keeping up with the times, IN!FD is the first educational institute in the world to completely digitize fashion and design education with the launch of the latest innovation INIFD Design Pad - a first-of-its-kind initiative. INIFD has completely digitized its entire curriculum and is providing students with INIFD Design Pads starting with the 2011 academic session. He wished the students all the best for their careers.
The various collections showcased on the occasion by the students are "I am tied with you" by Alnawaz Veerrani; "Indo Elinika Kurtines" by Sneha and Manish; "Cissy Gallant" by Pooja and Nimisha; "Nostalgia" by Apoorva and Harsha; "Elements of Life" by Praneeta; "Street Hawks" by Chitaranjan and Rajesh; "Honey Creepers" by Rizwana and Pavitra; "Nosche Drillante" by Prathiba and Deep Singh; "Undangerous Animals" by Jeevan; "Medieval Mantra" by Priyanka: "Flowers" by Priyashu Jalan and Shardha; "Indian Sculptures" by Shruthi; "Divine:' by Aasma Khan and Pooja Kanodia; "Eye Candy" by P. Swathi; and "The Maybe ... !" by Tanya Aqarwal and Umika Aneja.
