An extended gesture of warmth in response to ‘the cry of help’ becomes ‘indispensable’. The strength of hope lightens the ‘shadowed’, giving illumination to their very reality and that is ‘ROSHNI’. If your life is thrown out of gear and you need help, look out for ROSHNI.

Shilpa Reddy, believes that ‘Dance’ is the best medium to express and experience. As an experience it enriches the minds of both the dancer and the spectator. Hence we are here to create a ‘visual representation’ of the journey of a ‘peppy life’, from the zone of bright actuality to the dark end of reality. through contemporary dance form which will create awareness of the nobel cause we are addressing and touches every one to be empathetic and compassionate.

Aruna Bhikshu who would be choreographing all the pieces (her bio data few lines hv to b added) believe that every ‘body’ is a tool of expression and nurtures an innate element of dancing ability and it is only the technique that requires training and practice. Shilpa Reddy absolutely bears the ‘attitude’ of a dancer. This brings us together to empathize, express and energize the cause of ROSHNI

About Roshni Trust
Roshni trust is a non-profit organization founded with the support of late Dr. Anji Reddy in the year 1997, with an objective of addressing issues on mental health and now providing comfort for the terminally ill.

Imagine bringing to reality – a Hyderabad – where people with mental illness can seek treatment without being stigmatized; the terminally ill live painlessly and then die peacefully. Such endearing transformations are possible when all of us come together and walk that extra mile to make a commi...tment to work towards the cause. We need to translate our thoughts to action by way of generous donations to ensure that the change happens, in order to build a sustainable corpus fund.

With this in mind, we have proposed an event on Sunday, the 2nd February at NConvention, Madhapur. Mrs. Shilpa Reddy, our Brand Ambassador is passionate about roshni. She is the winner of the prestigious Gladrags Mrs. India 2004, Fitness columnist, an entrepreneur - a multi-faceted woman. She extends her support by creating a dance, which is the best media to express and experience - enriching the minds of both the dancer and the spectator. Hence, we are here to create a visual representation of the noble cause we are addressing. This piece is choreographed by Dr. Aruna Bhikshu, who is acclaimed as Tollywood’s trusted Dance Guru. The two together empathise, express and energise the cause of roshni. This will be followed by a gala dinner with exclusive interaction with well-known Tollywood actors, supporting the cause.
