INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION
49% OF VOTERS ARE WOMEN AND 100% VOTING IS KEY TO WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

International Women’s Day Celebration had an Echo of Women Empowerment at an Interactive Session by Famous Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman.
The Women Vote which accounts for 49% in the Indian Democracy is a very important factor to choose the right leader who can lead the country from the front added Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman-A National Face of BJP and the woman leader-Ms. Nirmala emphasized on the importance of 100% turn out of women for the complete women empowerment-she stressed on the role of women leaders, entrepreneurs, social activist and their role towards educating every women to vote.
Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman is the national spokesperson of BJP. She was also a member of the National Commission for women (2003-2005). She has worked for the BBC World Service for some time. She has taken up this opportunity to appreciate women for the contribution in the society. She also decided to make the women realize the value of each vote they cast.
“With elections ahead it is important for women to understand the importance of their votes in the democratic country. Out of all the voters 49% of voters are women. For the women empowerment it becomes necessary that 100% women vote and use their power to elect a government that encourages them to move ahead in life.” said Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman, National spokesperson of BJP.
“It feels good to be a part of such an interactive session. Many women do not cast their vote thinking what big difference it can make. But the fact is each and every vote that a women casts helps in building the face of a country.” , said an entrepreneurs participating in the event.
