Rudraksh Maha Kumbh: Photo Exhibition By Pankaj Agarwal at Muse Art Gallery

PANKAJ AGARWAL - Eminent Freelance Photographer who was bom and bought Up in a jewellers family, works as a Govt Valuer and qualified Gemmologist had a Passion for photography which he grasped from his father and a childhood friend With whom he was playing with photo paper hypo and developer to develop a Black and white pictures in those days gradually it has taken shape and he has started taking pictures of gems and jewellery for his references and jewellery art study Purposes.

In 2013 he utilised his photography ideas in full capacity to unveil the DIVNE JOURNEY of MAHAKUMBHA which was of great importance in history because it Was great KUMBHA FESTIVAL which took place after 12x12=144 years in history This Mahakumbh 2013 was unique in many was as it was associated with the Astha of millions of Indians who have faith in Ganga and its ritual’s which are related with Moksha after death.

Western world was also not left behind, and visited several lakhs in numbers including western media and channels there curiosity to see the NAGAS there rituals and life had bought them to Prayag.

Pankaj’s interest in photography and event of this great international interest has encouraged him to capture through his lenses and in one month he took more than 3200 hundred pictures of Maha-kumbha of which 108 are on Display. Which reflects the SAHI- SNAN, NAGAS, GREAT SAINTS, CELEBRITY and common man’s life in MAHA KUMBHA
