Oral Health Awareness Walkathon by Dental Surgeons, Hyderabad

Indian Society of Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry is a specialized branch of dentistry which deals with oral health of Children from birth to adolescence and requires specialized training.

The Post-graduate students assemble twice in a year once for the conference and once for post-graduate convention where intensive training with hands-on technical training are planned as a part of Pre-convention.

The 13th prestigious National Convention is being held at Shilpakala Vedika at Hyderabad on 26th February, 2016, which is hosted by Panineeya Dental College which has been a host for many conferences of different Branches of Dentistry.

The Pre-convention courses are held at Panineeya Dental College which also includes "Walkathon" on the theme ‘Healthy Mother Smiling Child'. The Chief Guest of the day is Dr Akun Sabharwal, IPS, Director Drug Control who incidentally is a Dental Surgeon.

The walk is planned from Panineeya Dental College to Thakur Hariprasad Institute for Special Children. The message of giving back to the society as a moral responsibility is being followed by the management and delegates.

Present at the Walkathon were Vice Chairman- GNI Shri GS Kohli, Principal of Panineeya Dental College Dr Karunakar, office bearers of the association, Organising Secretary Dr Radhika and her team of PEDOPEARLS.
