Actor Afsat Azad forays into Kollywood

Actor Afsar Azad does not have any formal training in acting, but has earned good name for his performance. He has acted as character artist, comedian, villain and was appreciated for his performance.

He started his career with Srihari's 'Simhachalam'. He entertained the audience with his performance as the main villain in 'Adhineta', 'Intlo Dayyam, Naakem Bhayyam' and 'Seema Shastri'.

Azad has acted as a villain in movies like 'Evadaithe Naakenti', 'Satyameva Jayathe', 'Shiva Kasi', 'Raja Babu', 'Adhinetha', 'Srimannarayana', 'Adhinayakudu', 'Radha', 'Rudra IPS'. All these main lead villain roles brought him fame. He also did acted as a right hand to the main villain in Pawan Kalyan's 'Gudumba Shankar'.

Azad while doing villainee roles in Tollywood gaining opportunities in Tamil and Bhojpuri films too. Now his Tamil movie as hero is 'nallavanum Ille Kettavanum Ille' The film is currently being shot. His Bhojpuri movie as hero is 'jangli Janwar'.

Azad's talents attracted the Kannada Star Heroes too. Now He has been doing films with Punit Raj Kumar and Darshan as a villain.

Azad who is busy in 4 languages hopes to perform as a hero in Telugu films too. He says that his ambition is to fill the gap that was there after actor Srihari. He also says that he will work hard to entertain the audience and he is fond of acting.
