For a few days, there have been reports that Tamil star actor 'Chiyaan' Vikram will be leaving movies for good once he is done with his current projects, including Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' and will concentrate on his son Dhruv Vikram's career.

Fans of Vikram have been worried after these reports have come out. But as it turns out, there is no truth in those reports. Vikram's official spokesperson has rubbished the reports as baseless rumours. With this confirmation, fans have heaved a sigh of relief.

Vikram used to enjoy a huge market in Telugu states too few years back. But the 'I' actors recent films have not impressed the Telugu audiences and his market seems to have been going downhill here. His son Dhruv Vikram's debut film, 'Aaditya Varma', the remake of Telugu blockbuster 'Arjun Reddy', did fairly well at the Tamil Nadu box-office.
