A pic of a woman making masks has been doing on social media. Many claimed that she is Chiranjeevi's mother and some newspapers also published it. But the 'Sye Raa' actor clarified that the woman in the pic is not his mother.
But Chiranjeevi appreciated the humanitarian work of the woman in the picture and said he "heartily thank her for such kindness".
Chiru recently thanked the police in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, who have been relentlessly working to make the lock down a success and thereby containing the corona virus pandemic. "As the son of a cop, I salute all the cops", Chiru said. Many actors, producers, directors have come forward on the call of Chiranjeevi to donate for Corona Crisis Charity (CCC), set up to help workers in the Telugu film industry.
The shoot of Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya', directed by Koratala Siva, is expected to be resumed soon after the lock down is lifted. Ram Charan is the producer of this movie, which is Chiru's 152nd.
