Have Sandade Sandadi this New Year’s eve – an entertainment galore from the live music band, Aavakai

Aavakai, the only live Telugu music band in the San Francisco bay area, is a highly energized group of talented and passionate artistes. They are also known as "drumstix" in the non-telugu speaking community and produce live entertainment shows and concerts in Telugu and Hindi across the US. Their dream debut show for Sankara Eye Foundation on November 17th in San Mateo was a grand success. Aavakai is coming back with a blast to entertain the Bay Area crowd with pulsating live music and mouth-watering food this New Year’s eve.

Given below are the details of this event:

Aavakai and Peacock Indian Café present ‘Sandadi 2008’ this New Year’s eve. The New Year bash promises to be an entertainment galore with pulsating live Telugu music, funlimited dance floor, Telugu deejay, free appetizer & exquisite dinner with Hyderabadi dum biryani, live dances, champagne toast at the stroke of 12:00 and more.

Aavakai was formed earlier this year by Surya Vakkalanka, who has made his mark as a music composer and keyboardist in the SF bay area from the last 10 years. Their recent concert in November, that helped raise more than $10,000 for Sankara Eye Foundation, was an instant hit. All the songs rendered were a youthful mix of popular Hindi and Telugu numbers. The audience was pleasantly surprised by the seasoned performances and the professionalism enthused by the band in their very first show.

True to their punchy tag line of ‘we serve spicy music’, their infectious energy is sure to spice up your evening and make everyone shake a leg or two. The band is all geared up to give another rocking performance and enter the New Year with a bang!!

Bring your kids along and let loose while the kids enjoy themselves in an area exclusively for them. The New Year bonanza is going to be a wholesome entertainer for your entire family.
